Pyruvic acid effectively reduces melasma and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. It contributes to depigmentation by inhibiting keratinocyte activity and has strong antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and sebum-regulating properties.
Salicylic acid is a beta-hydroxy acid that penetrates deeply into the sebaceous canals, regulates sebum production, and acts anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and astringent.
The combination creates a powerful, targeted treatment for acne, pigmentation issues, and inflammatory skin conditions.
